Richard Purge is the founder of Rich Soccer Club. The club was formed because he saw the need to provide a safe space for his boys to learn soccer. Richard's love for soccer began when he was a youth . This love would influence his tertiary education as he attended the G.C. Foster College earning a degree in Physical Education and Sports Medicine. After earning his degree, Richard went on to coach at the Dunrobin Primary School in Kingston , Jamaica . Under his guidance, he successfully led the team to six National Primary School championships. Richard now looks forward to sharing his talent and successes with kids in the Manorville , NY and surrounding areas . 

Richard Purge created history by becoming the second primary school (under 13) coach to win both the league title and knockout title in the same year . He accomplished this feat with Dunrobin Primary School in 2004. He was also the first primary school coach to win the knockout title for three (3) straight years (2002, 2003, 2004). 

He coached at the highest club level in Jamaica , training the Constant Spring National premier league team (2006-2008) which featured several Jamaica nationals including the World Cup 1998 player Walter Boyd . 

Richard Purge was instrumental in the development of the Dunrobin Sports Complex in Jamaica from its previous dusk bowl. He formed and was technical director for Dunrobin FC (Red Hills Rd ) who made the complex their home ground , keeping numerous community stars out of trouble . Richard Purge was a source of inspiration and hope for a lot of these youngsters, a true community leader.
